Arts, Crafts and Projects
The Argent Court have members proficient in Medieval performance arts, especially singing and dancing, and some musicianship and acting; and various Medieval crafts, such as those needed for constructing fine Medieval garb (sewing, leatherwork and stitchcraft), weapon making and armouring (chainmail, leather, kurboulli and plate), woodcrafts, tent building, and comestables (brewing, cheese making, feast preparations).
This is far from an exhaustive list of skills we would like to boast. Members are encouraged to learn other performance arts such as acrobatics, tumbling and jestering, and we would love to get crafts such as calligraphy and illumination, perfume making, pottery, casting, construction of jewelery, boots, hats, stained glass windows and siege engines, candle making and anything else of interest.
We also want skills such as hunting, tanning, axe and dagger throwing, horse stuntworkers and such like. The opportunities to learn are boundless, and some of the accomplishments of people who have revived Medieval arts, crafts and skills in our modern world are amazing.
